Takes calls and transfers them to the required staff members. This position may be combined with that of receptionist. Where is it done and under what conditions? On the office switchboard or telephone room or reception area. What tools/equipment do they use? Information technology and other office equipment, and the switchboard itself. What do you need to succeed? You need introductory training and ability to concentrate and a good telephone voice and manner.
