Who are they and what do they do? The enamel worker applies enamel coating to metallic surfaces. May also be known as an enamel dipper.

What are the activities of the job? Immersing the metal surfaces in enamel suspensions, loading them into enameling production lines, by glazing, spraying or applying powder in an electro-static field. S/he services and maintains the appropriate machines and equipment.

Where is it done and under what conditions? In workshops and factories. Dirt, exposure to chemicals and high temperatures must be expected.

What tools/equipment do they use? Various machines, tanks and lifting equipment, control and automation technology, spray guns etc.

What do you need to succeed? You need an apprenticeship and manual skills.
