Who are they and what do they do? The glass decorator's job task is engraving and decorating glass products with various motifs.

What are the activities of the job? All the activities of glass finishing through the use of various copper and emery mixtures, creating decorations on glass products by cutting with special discs, engraving and carving out various decors and motifs - starting with simpler cuts and ending with complex artistic decorations, engraving and cutting of figures and various relief patterns and decorations according to an artist's or the engraver's own designs.

Where is it done and under what conditions? In glassworks & cutting shops, where, inevitably there will be noise and dust.

What tools/equipment do they use? Engraver's tools, painting equipment, abrasive materials, polishing compounds, cutting machines and similar equipment such as grinders, polishing machinery, etc. and your own hands.

What do you need to succeed? You need vocational training, manual dexterity, aesthetic sense, inventive and creative abilities, ability to concentrate, patience, accuracy and good eyesight.
