Who are they and what do they do? The mining rescue worker is employed to rescue mine workers trapped below ground. Their goal is also to prevent significant material damage during accidents and disasters in mines.

What are the activities of the job? Directs rescue operations during the rescue of miners and other mine employees trapped in mines, or endangered by explosions or in other life-threatening situations underground.

Where is it done and under what conditions? At the site of underground or surface mines, where there will be considerable dust, dirt, noise, and danger. Shift work is also involved.
