What are the activities of the job? Work activities include - accepting people interested in getting a credit, selecting potential clients - discussing with potential clients the possibilities of credit provision, putting together specific offers - checking out credit applications, complete analysis of the client's financial situation and his/her business plan - together with the client, looking for suitable ways of investing the client's own financial resources - evaluating the value of property provided by the client as security (mortgage) - processing proposals for credit provision - signing credit and other agreements - checking whether the loan is being paid up and whether conditions of the credit agreement are being adhered to - this may involve inspections and checks at the client's premises - purchasing shares and other securities for clients and taking care of other banking transactions in national and foreign currencies - preparing and executing commercial and non-commercial payments to and from other countries - analysing the development of needs and of sources of the bank's monetary funds - advising in specialised fields of the bank's activities.

Where is it done and under what conditions? The job is done in offices and meeting rooms, where the work environment is fairly comfortable.

What tools/equipment do they use? Primarily computer technology and normal office supplies.

What do you need to succeed? You need a degree from a university which specialises in economics, good judgement, ability to evaluate people, ability to deal with people, ability to learn.
