priest/minister of religion (clergyman/woman):

Who are they and what do they do? The clergyman/woman will have a different role according to the particular religion involved, but a minister of religion or priest or rabbi etc. (Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Muslim, etc.), will usually lead the local community of members of that religion, preaching, performing religious rites and ceremonies, and exercising some kind of pastoral care for the particular community.

What are the activities of the job? Preaches at religious services, leads religious ceremonies (weddings, baptisms, funerals, confessions), leads various religious communities or groups, carries out various administrative tasks, and offers pastoral care to a specific (local/regional) religious community including personal advice and counselling for individuals.

Where is it done and under what conditions? In churches, synagogues, mosques and related buildings; it means, sacrificing personal interests to the service of other people; work outside of normal office hours will, of course, be involved.

What tools/equipment do they use? Religious books and ceremonial equipment. Some religious leaders use radio and television or film media as well as face-to-face teaching and contact with their followers.

What do you need to succeed? You may need to have a university-level education, the subject depending on the particular religion involve. Of course religious faith is required, readiness to sacrifice one's personal interests to service for the believers, positive attitudes to people, and humility. Some religions (e.g. Catholicism) require celibacy in their clergy. Others do not allow women, or gay men, to take such a post.
