What are the activities of the job? Loads the drum with the mixture of coffees and starts it up; watches over the process of roasting and regulates the heater. Once roasted the coffee grains are paced on trays where they must be well spread in uniform layers to cool down. S/he turns off the fans once the coffee has reached the required temperature. S/he can also be in charge of grinding coffee, chicory or other ingredients using an industrial grinding machine.
