Specialists in epistemology are interested especially in the possibilities and limits of our knowledge, as well the possibility of developing systems and general theories. A moral philosopher focuses on ethics, on the responsibility of people with respect to themselves, with respect to other people and with respect to society. The relation between an individual and society is studied also in social philosophy or in the philosophy of politics and law.
